I’ll never forget Sarge Shriver asking my dad, Andrew F. Tully, for his advice on accepting George McGovern’s invitation to join his 1972 Presidential ticket- in the sauna at The Watergate Health Club.

I believe my pops said something along the lines of  “It’s a pretty good gig”

I’ll also never forget seeing him going to mass every morning at Our Lady of Victory Church as I arrived at school there…
